Image Research LLC, is a wholly owned subsidiary of BioMedical Computer Research Institute, Inc. BioMedical has been in the medical and bioscience research arena for over 20 years working with major pharmaceutical companies, NIH and a multitude of academic institutions. The main focus has been statistical analysis and software development.

From 1998 to 2006 BioMedical had a large team consulting with major

pharmaceutical companies and consulted on a multitude of echocardiographic clinical trials. BioMedical was responsible for developing a number of software applications, many involved tracking and moving over 35,000 echocardiograms. As a result of this experience with echo clinical trials, it became obvious that the electronic movement of echocardiograms and all image files in clinical trials would be very useful. Therefore, we developed ImageExpres™ to be a software application that is
a cost effective, efficient and user friendly alternative to sending echocardiograms

by standard courier services.

ImageExpres is a secure encrypted, HTTPS, web-based, transfer solution for exchanging large or confidential documents and images including x-ray and ultrasound. The system complies with HIPAA security standards. The application downloads quickly, is easy to use and transfers large files rapidly. A database provides tracking information and the sender is notified when the files have been received and downloaded.
