ImageExpress Installation Error Fix
If you have trouble uninstalling or re-installing ImageExpres or the .NET 2.0 Framework……
During our extensive testing process, the ImageExpres Support Team has found a bug in Microsoft's .NET framework. This bug can
cause errors while uninstalling or re-installing ImageExpres. This is a Microsoft issue and should be addressed in the next realease of the .NET frameowork.
Should you receive .NET Runtime Errors while uninstalling or re-installing ImageEpxres there are three possible solutions. This process can take between 10 to 30 minutes.
1. Repair
2. Uninstall
3. Manual Uninstall
Please follow the steps below to fix your issue.
1. Attempt to repair your existing .NET installation

A. Go to Start -> Control Panel
|
|
B. Double click on “Add Remove Programs”
|
|
C. Locate the most current version of the Microsoft .NET framework (It should be at least version 2.0, higher numbers are more current)
D. Highlight that item and click on the “Change/Remove” button (If you have a "Change"
button, then click it instead)

E. Click on the “Repair” radio button, then click “Next”
|
|
F. When the repair is finished, click on the “Finish” button and allow your computer to restart.
|
2. Should the repair not work for any reason please attempt to remove the framework by completing the following steps.....
|
A. Repeat steps 1.A through 1.C
|
|
B. Highlight that item and click on the “Change/Remove” button (If you have a "Remove"
button, then click it instead)
|
|
C. Highlight the "Uninstall" radio button and click "Next >"
|
|
D. Click "Yes" to confirm the uninstall
|
|
E. Click on the "Finish" button
|
|
F. Restart your computer and install ImageExpres from the install page, here.
|
3. Should the above steps not work for any reason please complete the follwoing steps to manually remove the .NET framework….
|
A. Download the .NET Cleanup Tool by clicking here and saving the file to your desktop

B. Extract the files to your desktop by right clicking on the .zip file and choosing "Extract All.."
|
|
C. Follow the Extraction Wizard steps and save the files to your desktop(You can continute to click "Next >" until you see the "Finish" button)
|

D. Once the files are extracted, double click on cleanup_tool.exe
|
|
E. Click "Yes"
|
|
F. Click "Yes"
|
|
G. Make sure ".NET Framework - All Versions" is selected in the drop down menu, then click "Cleanup Now"
|
|
G. Once you see the message "Product cleanup succeeded!" then click on the "Exit" button
|
|
H. Restart your computer and install ImageExpres from the install page, here.
